Like most of us, Mathieu's reasoning for building a teardrop was because he was tired of sleeping on the ground when camping!

Mathieu built his teardrop in Gatineau QC using our DIY Renegade plans. Here’s some insight on his build!

What made you want to build a tiny camper?

Love camping, tired of sleeping on the ground!

What was your experience like building this camper?

This was a great DIY project, a lot of fun to build.

What was the first step in your build?

Purchasing the plans and figuring out my budget.

What was your favorite part of the build?

Building the hatch.

What was the most difficult part of the build?

Electrical.

How long has it taken you?

Under 6 months.

If you're comfortable sharing, what was the total cost of the build?

$13K CAD.

What has been the best part of owning a tiny camper?

The easy setup, sleeping off the ground and the amenities of the galley kitchen.

How did using Wander Tears DIY plans and having the resources provided affect your build process and time?

The drawings saved a lot of time a lot of trial and errors no doubt!
