Our Camper Details

Why we built our tiny camper?

Welcome!

Our camper was dreamed up as a solution to an evolving problem: we wanted to see more, but also sleep well, in the short time we could get.

Prior to building our teardrop, in 2017, our adventures consisted of hiking, backpacking, and mountain biking in one general location. We would hike, or bike, into the wilderness and spend a week sleeping in a tent, bathing in streams, and eating freeze-dried meals. (Nothing against freeze-dried meals! We love them!)

Needless to say, by the time we got back home we were exhausted! This eventually led to us searching for options that would allow us to travel comfortably, longer distances, and on a budget.

Fast forward to mid-2019. At some point I crossed paths with a tiny camper called a teardrop… and down the rabbit hole we went. It was certainly a game-changer for us!

The community surrounding these little works of art is nothing short of impressive. And it’s growing. The freedom to escape on a moments notice is enticing to both the outdoorsman and the comfort seeker alike.

We wish to help anyone who may stumble upon this site to also take on the challenge of building (or purchasing) one of these remarkable tiny campers. If you think you can accommodate such an endeavor in your life, please use this website for its purpose. Ask questions and join the community here.
